Gratitude

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving 
and gratitude...

even WITH

all of the hard things going on right now
in our life...

I feel COMPELLED to express my gratitude 
to the people who have stepped into
our "ring of fire", those who have
walked with us, those who have held our hands.

Tonight we both feel so blessed and loved
and cared about and watched over.

We just want to give a public shout out
to the brave souls who have loved us when
loving us is hard, and scary, and uncomfortable.

We would NOT survive without you.

We could not survive without you.

I hope you know who you are.

I hope you know what you mean to us.

I hope we thank you enough.

Some of you, we have never even met
"in real life."

Some of you are family, friends and neighbors.

You keep us afloat.

You keep us grounded.

You keep us sane.

You keep us here.

So, Thank You.

We love you.

We are grateful to you beyond our
ability to even say Thank You.

We are blessed to know you.

We are blessed to call you "friends."

We are forever changed by your 
bravery to be with us and love us
and hold us during some of the darkest
hours.

Gratitude.

That's what is OVER FLOWING in my heart today.
